9th Annual Miss Hooters Canada Competition @ the Toronto Airport Hilton Double Tree hotel.

On the evening of Thursday may 15th 2008, 20 beautiful ladies (hooters waitresses) from across Canada converged upon the Toronto Airport Hilton Double Tree Hotel to duke it out for the Miss Hooters Canada 2008 crown. The food was good, but lets be honest, who really goes to hooters for the food?

My favorite part of the night was the Bikini contest for obvious reasons, the place was packed and a few minor celebs were in the crowd, including The Ass Man, Webdream’s Jude Jade, and the original Kid Rock.
The winner of the compition was Amanda from Toronto’s Airport location, you can see her briefty in this video. The judging panel was led by the Toronto Sun’s Mike Stobel, I am not quite sure how they made up there decision at the end of the night, almost every girl that was in the compition looked great to me. It would have been a tough choice! The only draw back to the night was that both food and beer was way too over priced for my taste, I guess when you got hundreds of girls running around in sexy outfits you don’t neccessarly need complimentary food and beverages even at a “V.I.P.” only event, lol.

This being Toronto, it was a must that KayvonTV was on the scene and we got some real cool video and pictures to prove it.
A superfanastic night folks!! I even got to crown Amanda, the brand new Miss.KayvonTV.
I spent most of my time wondering how so many ugly, fat women could get employed by a wonderful restaurant like Hooters.
I don’t know? besides Amanda and a couple of girls from Barrie they were all dogs, next year they BETTER have free food, or chances are I won’t be attending again!!

Heyy, I just came across this site today through a google search and I was surprised to see all this stuff from last nights event.
I was at the Miss Hooters contest in Toronto, I got my VIP ticket from my favorite waitress Kim. I disagree with earlier comments made on this forum, I think last night was a total blast, I didn’t mind paying the money for my beer, and as a long-time Bud fan, I was glad that they had my brand. I mean like come on dude, when the beer is served to you by 4 smoking hot broads it is worth the money!
I do however feel the judges made an error in picking Amanda as the winner, from my point of view the clear winning was Jenna.
After viewing so of the stuff on here, I sorta wish I had a better video cam to film this with, but I hope you enjoy my footage still!

Hey Folks, I just may have a scoop for you.–> Was the fix on in the Miss Hooters Canada Pageant?–>
An interesting note came into my site from somebody that works closely with one of the girls at Hooters. The note covertly read;
“I work with one of the (Hooters) Girls… She told me that the whole competion is a fix and it is. You have Amanda who won and she was the only girl, that was a Sunshine girl. It’s just a waste to go to one of those shows.”
Let’s start to string all this together, shall we.–>The Miss Hooters Girl Pageant winner was Amanda. She was a sunshine girl a few weeks ago. The Toronto Sun was the primary media sponsor of the event. (where my good friend, respected journalist Mr. Joe Warmington works) Just coincidence?

As a contestant in the pageant id just like to say anyone who says most of the girls out of the 20 picked out of all of canada to compete are “dogs” , is urged not to come to any upcoming cometitions in the future. We would rather not have such rude people at our events and i think its just stupid to even show your face with such a horrible additude. And myself i am not Amanda or the few from Barrie that were not “dogs” so thanks for the compliment. Very Classssy.
It’s incredible how people perceive contests such as this as fixed - would you have though that if your favourite girl had won or if you really knew the winner? But even more sad is your comment about the other girls - shame on you - I thought you were quite entertaining as I watched you in your interviews with all the girls outside the banquet room that night and even for a slight moment admired how such an odd looking young man can have the confidence to be in front of a camera.
My recomendation… find youself a mentor who will teach you the art of reporting, broadcasting the how to gain people’s respect because comments like that pal will have them running away from your camera and your odd looking face the next time you show up anywere and don’t quote sun columnist like Mr. Warmington as being your friend as I’m sure he’s quite embaressed for you right now.
