Rihanna brings the Good Girl Gone Bad tour to Canada with special guest Akon.

Rihanna embarked on a worldwide promotional tour on September 15, three months after the release of her Good Girl Gone Bad album. It consisted of three legs with 40 shows and ended on April 5, 2008. The first leg began in Canada which consisted of eleven shows across the country sharing with Akon.
I went mostly to see Akon, but Rihanna looked extra good in her tight outfit. My favorite song of the night had to be Umbrella. Akon’s set was good, but I perfered the last time he was in town with Gwen Stefani.
All in all a good night, it was the first time I saw Rihanna in an arena and I was impressed, this girl can hold her own. She is the next Beyonce, and it was good to catch a early performance from someone who could go down as a legend.
What a great concert! It was soo great to see Akon, he is so sexy! the crowd went crazy when he did “Smack that”. I was singing along to every work Akon’s fine self was saying.
A great night, can’t wait for Akon to return!
