What a fantastic time we had during Canadian Music Week. It really is an amazing annual event that’s dedicated to the expression and growth of the country’s music business. Saturday was the urban hip-hop day featuring keynote interviews with KRS-one and RZA. And what a surprise we had when the rap legend himself, KRS-one walked right by me as he made his way to his keynote speech. Of course, it wouldn’t be KayvonTV if we didn’t try to catch up with KRS-one for an interview. And what a surprise I had when the man himself grabbed me mike and shared some wisdom’s.

It was a sick concert the teacher, KRS-ONE, threw down at the Opera House. He performed all of his hits, from Crimal Minded, to MC’s Act like They don’t know.
The highlight of KRS’s performance had to be when he called Rza of the Wu-Tang Clan on stage to join him.
I found a clip on youtube showing RZA hit the stage, you can clearly see the excitement in the crowd, as Toronto Hip-Hop history is made.

I got a new interview with The RZA at my site. Peep it now.

Speaking of RZA hitting the stage, here is a great shot of him I took druing the show.
It was a great show, the opera house was packed to the rim and the atmosphere was electric.
KRS sounded real good, I have been listening to his music since I was 8, so it was a real thrill to see him perform all my favorite jams live.
All in all, I have to say it was one of the best concerts I have been too in my life!
