Victoria Beckham at Holt Renfrew Toronto for launch of DVB line of denim jeans

(Feb 26-08) While in Toronto to perform the very last Spice Girls reunion shows - Victoria Beckham found time to drop by Holt Renfrew on Bloor St. Toronto to launch her DVB line of denim jeans.Hundreds of fans and a ton of media were there to greet her. But to get up to the table and personally meet Mrs. Beckham you had to purchase something from the line - with jeans starting at $275.
Can’t say I got great shots that day. Hundreds of fans, very strict media policy (let’s just say the Holt Renfrew PR people weren’t feelin’ the “citizen journalist” love.) But the day did remind me again how we need things like ThePopVine to bring a few stories together.

Victoria was real nice to my girlfriend Amy, who waited all day for a chance to meet her favorite Spice Girl. I didn’t mind paying the $275 for the jeans, afterall it is not everyday when a Victoria Beckham comes to town, my girlfriend certinatly enjoyed it!!
