I saw Johnny Depp at the Toronto Film Festival either 2 or 3 years ago. I was actually working late one night shooting some festival stuff for local news and was waiting for Robert Deniro to come out of a party. Waited hours (I never did see him) but who pops out at around 4am. Mr. Johnny Depp. There was a bunch of fans waiting for him for autographs and stuff and Johnny spent some time signing and posing for pictures with everybody. This is definitely one man who appreciates his fans. I mentioned that I loved his performance in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and he seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. Class guy.
It was real cool to meet Denzel when he came to town for the Norman Jewison tribute @ the Royal Ontario Museum. Denzel is one of my favorite actors, my favorite Denzel movies are Malcolm X and Training Day, Denzel was nice enough 2 sign this photo of him as Malcolm X with me. It was a great night 4 me, and the photo currently hangs on the wall in my bedroom.

It was an honour and privilege to interview Malcolm McDowell at this years FANexpo in Toronto. From talking about the career defining role in Stanley Kubrick’s “A Clockwork Orange” to the recurring role on the hit HBO show Entourage - this guy is full of incredible stories. I’ll post some video of them real soon.
