The arrival of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers in Toronto to play at the Rogers Center. photo’s and video

Steelers vs. Bills @ Toronto's Rogers Center

(Aug 14th) Trent Edwards, Lee Evans and the rest of The Buffalo Bills are in Toronto to play a exhibition game at the Rogers Center against Ben Roethlisberger, Willie Parker, Troy Polamalu, and The Pittsburgh Steelers as part of The Buffalo Bill’s “Canada’s Team” Campaign.

TORONTO — Canada’s largest city went about its normal weekday business on Wednesday.

Construction cranes continued work on the ever-changing skyline, businessmen hustled to work on Front Street, and tour buses stopped in front of the CN Tower and Hockey Hall of Fame for sightseers to snap pictures.

Amid this hustle and bustle, the three powder blue Niagara Scenic coach buses carrying the Buffalo Bills entourage were able to slip into town undetected from most people for Thursday night’s much-hyped preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Rogers Center.

When Bills players and coaches entered the Hotel Intercontinental, there wasn’t a fan or autograph seeker in sight. There were, however, 25 members of the media toting pads, cameras and microphones. And later, when coach Dick Jauron and a half dozen of his players were seated at tables with name plates in a fancy ball room for interviews, things quickly took on the feel of a Super Bowl, not an NFL preseason game.

“I’d like to see this treatment again,” strong safety Donte Whitner said. “It feels like a national championship game.”
A game that is generating all kinds of emotions on both sides of the border.

Tonight’s game is the first of eight Bills games to be played over the next five years in Toronto — the next one is a regular season game on Dec. 7 against the Miami Dolphins — after the Bills entered into a partnership with the Rogers Communications Empire.

Hi Folks! Rest assured, this being Toronto and all, the great Kayvon of KayvonTV fame was indeed on the scene when the Pittsburgh Steelers arrived in Toronto last night and I have many superfantastic photo’s and video’s from that event that I would like to share with everyone.
I am going to start with photo’s because the video’s usually take a couple days to process.

Here is me and Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu :)

Here’s myself and a player I can’t quite remember the name of right now (it’s 5am, I have been going all day, and I am absolutely exhausted)
He was a real cool guy, and you can see that he was quite amused at something I was saying or at me in general. If you stay tuned to my fantastic cult hit reality/variety hybrid show, KayvonTV, you will see my entire interview with this fellow who for now will be left unnamed.

I got a new interview with The RZA at my site. Peep it now.

I was there on arrive testing out my new cam. I managed to snap some good shots before all the players came in. It was a mad house and none of the player signed anything.
I wish I would have stuck around, but to me they seemed unaccessible.

To see every member of an NFL football team pile off 5 team buses is a site to behold. The sheer size of some of these guys is enough to startle you, let only 80 off them, at once, piling off buses…

To me the funniest thing is to think what these football players are thinking of all the autograph hounds and paparazzi out front of there hotel, considering it was the first time ever in Canada for most of the players.

Well Folks, I managed to get the good folks @ KayvonTV working overtime for you, and they have managed to put together my first of many KayvonTV episodes featuring The Pittsburgh Steelers and The Buffalo Bills.

In this video, I meet Pro Bowl Safety Troy Polamalu of long hair fame, I managed to ask Troy about various subjects, ranging from his thoughts on tomorrow’s game, to the possibility of him one day playing in the CFL. (The REAL football league)

Troy was extremely nice and accommodating for a superstar his magnitude. Troy, U Rock Dude, can’t wait to watch you lay a beating on those pesky neighbors of us to the south.
