Pride Week 2008 in Toronto.

Pride Week in Toronto is one of Canada’s premier arts and cultural festivals and one of the largest Pride celebrations in the world.
Pride Week features 10 days of world class arts and cultural programming, community activities, one of the worlds largest street festivals, Pride Parade and Dyke March, Family programming, and much more.
I went down to Pride Week 2008 mainly to link up with some girls who came to visit me from Newfoundland. I found the parade and the party to be a real fun event. One under reported aspect of Gay Pride week, is all the hot women who turn out to watch the parade.
Yonge street was packed with people enjoying the festivities, the parade was cool and I even stayed down for the night and danced away in the streets as the cleaning crews were taking the parade route down.
All in all a great day, I can’t wait till next year for Pride 2009.

It’s so cool to see a vine about Pride Week….I had tons of fun hitting up the parade with my girls, what a cool day, tons of cute guys in skimpy outfits. I luv it!

After searching Youtube for some cool Pride Week video’s, I came across this well produced video of yesterday’s parade. It features appearances by Rick Mercer,Chris Wilson,and a handful of other celebs.
I must admit, I didn’t go anywhere near Pride Week 2008, however reading this vine and watching this video gave me a real good feel for how the afternoon was.

o.k. so my girl dragged me down 2 pride week 2008, which made me cringe in every way possible. One positive was seeing this vine on-line today, It gave me a place 2 put the photo’s I shot down there with my new phone, since I am not goin’ 2 post them 2 my facebook, LOL.
