   Kardi Chillen out on the Big parking lot stage during his rehearsal for the MMVAs. He wasn’t really Doing much accept bouncing around and telling the sound check where the cues were, but I guess thats cause hes a vet at performing.

   Canada’s very own Kardinal Offishall rehearses his hit song “Dangerous” in the shadow of the neighborhood in which he grew up in.
   Kardi seemed very relaxed going through the routine, and he seemed be enjoying the entire MMVA’s rehearsal process.

   Solitaire, Kardi’s longtime friend and hypeman, was at his side, adding energy to the performace of Dangerous, a song that delivers Kardinal with his first ginuwine North American club hit.
   For me it was good to see a man who grew up in the same place as me, attended the same Jr school (Ryerson) and high school as me (West Toronto) be on the verge of breakout superstar status in the US.
   I am looking forward to watching the live show tonight, when Kardi’s label mate, Akon, will join the fold and hopefully provide viewers with a lasting memory from the 2008 Muchmusic Video Awards.

   Here’s a great show of Rhianna doing sound check. I was there all day and managed to see Rhianna, Kardi, and New Kids rehearse. It was too bad that I missed Girlicous when I went to eat, but u can’t win em all can you?
